Curtis Mayfield – Super Fly Original Motion Picture Soundtrack – Vinyl LP

uper Fly by Curtis Mayfield, the original motion picture soundtrack to the influential 1972 film.

Written, produced, and performed by Mayfield, the album blends soul, funk, orchestration, and social commentary into one of the defining soundtracks of the 1970s. It includes classics such as “Freddie’s Dead,” “Pusherman,” and “Superfly.”

More than a film soundtrack, Super Fly became an important album in its own right, using Mayfield’s music to examine the realities of drugs, poverty, survival, and life in urban America.
