Charley Patton – Primeval Blues, Rags & Gospel Songs – RSD 2026 – #898/1500 – Sealed

Primeval Blues, Rags, and Gospel Songs by Charley Patton, released as a limited Record Store Day 2026 vinyl edition.

One of the foundational figures of Delta blues, Patton helped shape the sound that would influence generations of blues, rock, folk, and American roots musicians. This collection highlights the range of his recorded work, moving from raw Delta blues to gospel and ragtime-influenced performances.

This Record Store Day pressing was limited to 1,500 copies, and this specific copy is hand-numbered 898/1500.

The LP contains 14 tracks, including “Revenue Man Blues,” “Prayer of Death,” “High Water Everywhere,” “Stone Pony Blues,” “34 Blues,” “Dry Well Blues,” and “Tom Rushen Blues.”

This copy remains factory sealed in its original shrink wrap, with the original Record Store Day/hype sticker and price sticker still present.

Because the record remains sealed, the vinyl itself has not been visually inspected or play tested. Please review all photos carefully, as they are part of the description and show the actual copy you will receive.

A special piece for collectors of Delta blues, early American music, Charley Patton, historic recordings, and limited Record Store Day vinyl.
